Carolyn Moore: Principal Facilitator & Executive Coach
It all began with a simple idea fuelled by a deep passion for enabling leaders, employees and businesses to shape their future through understanding themselves, their operating environment, their clients and digital change better.
Our Principal Facilitator and Executive Coach, Carolyn Moore has spent nearly thirty years at the intersection of human potential and organisational change. Not as an observer. As someone who has led transformation from the inside — and who knows, from experience, how rarely the hard part is the strategy.
Before becoming a coach and facilitator, Carolyn spent her career in the rooms where the most consequential decisions get made. As Global Director of Digital Transformation at Arcadis, she designed and delivered the Expedition DNA programme — a digital transformation initiative that engaged 27,000 employees across the world, built the culture and capability that enabled Arcadis to grow its innovation and digital business lines, and was awarded Best Digital Transformation Programme by the Environmental Business Journal in 2020. It remains one of the largest and most awarded human-centred digital transformation programmes in the engineering and consulting sector.
Before that, she led digital and IT transformation globally for WPP — the UK-listed multinational communications and advertising group — in partnership with IBM. She knows what it takes to move an organisation of tens of thousands of people through change that genuinely sticks. She also knows what it takes to move a single leader through the change that makes all the rest possible.
That is the experience Carolyn brings to every coaching engagement and leadership programme. Not theory borrowed from a textbook. The hard-won understanding of someone who has sat in the room when the transformation was behind schedule, the leadership team was not aligned, and the human complexity of the challenge was threatening to overwhelm the strategic one.
Her approach as a coach and facilitator draws on human-centred design thinking, Theory U and systemic team coaching — developed in collaboration with Otto Scharmer, Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management and founder of the Presencing Institute. She is an accredited Executive Coach with nearly three decades of practice, and holds memberships with the International Coaching Federation, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, and the Association for Coaching (UK).
She is also an accredited assessor and coach with two of the most rigorous leadership assessment tools available: the Leadership Circle 360-degree Assessment and Hogan's Leadership Forecast Series — including the Personality Inventory and Development Survey. These tools give her clients a quality of self-knowledge that most leaders spend an entire career without accessing.
Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters of Industrial Relations from the University of Sydney, and has pursued continuing executive education in Design Thinking at MIT and Digital Leadership at Vlerick Business School in Belgium — where she has also collaborated with leading academics on research at the frontier of digital transformation and organisational change.
